TIMEX Software
For TS2068
Timex Computer Corp made and sold software for the 2068 computer. None takes advantage of the hi-color or high-resolution screen modes, some being conversions of ZX Spectrum software to run on the 2068. Tapes and cartridges were sold inside a carton box (the box have cassette or cartridge printed) with instructions on paper and a plastic caddy so the cassette/cartridge didn’t move when transported. The same caddy was used for both the cassette and cartridge but never the two were inside the same box, as some software was available in both tape and cartridge (Crazy Bugs, Budgeter, States and Capitals are some examples), with the cartridge version being more expensive but it would instantly load upon powering up the computer.

ZX Spectrum Compatibility
TS2068 without a Spectrum emulator cartridge is only 7% software compatible with ZX Spectrum. With the emulator cartridge, its compatibility is raised to 97%.
Because of Timex of Portugal modifications, TC2068 is more compatible with Spectrum, actually the same as the TC2048!
