Sir Clive Sinclair is considered one of the most prolific inventors of his generation. The calculators and computers are just the tip of the iceberg.
Our museum is committed to researching and documenting the creations of Sir Clive Sinclair. Our work has the support of the Sinclair family – a true honour to us – as can be seen here.
The more we dig in, the more things we find out. One thing we found is that there was no website that gives a complete vision of all his creations. There are some very interesting websites such as the old Planet Sinclair (not to be confused with the Portuguese Planeta Sinclair blog!) but the author is unreachable… So, we decided to start a new site from scratch, based on our own collection of Sinclair creations.
Welcome to SINCLAIR World, the museum’s communication tool for Sir Clive’s and Sinclair matters.
This site intends to list all Sinclair’s creations, providing more detail on the ones with less information available elsewhere. For sure there will be mistakes and he will correct and improve the information as soon as we find out new details.
At the same time, this site is based on the museum collection which means that artifacts that we may be chasing will only be included after acquisition.
