SINCLAIR ZIKE
The Zike is an electric bike, from 1992, released by Sinclair Research, and it was another commercial flop (it sold around 2,000 units when the brand had predicted to produce 10,000/month).
It has plenty ingenious details, such as the 24V battery (made up of D batteries) that was built into the bicycle. Only very few have remained in working condition over the years.
The original engine had to be repaired by our dear friend Victor Lourenço (Febres, Cantanhede), to whom we are very thankful.
