APPLE MACINTOSH PLUS

Released in 1984 by Apple, the Macintosh was the one responsible for the widespread and popularity of using a system with a graphic interface and a mouse.

Even though it is important to mention the Macintosh for its’ historic relevance, specially in the USA, this machine never even compete in the same market as the Sinclair devices, since it was released with a price tag of $2,494 (equivalent to around €5,500 nowadays).

As would later happen with the Commodore Amiga, on the inside of the Macintosh you can see the signatures of the entire Apple team involved in the creation of this computer.

Seen by many as a revolutionary machine, the demise of the Macintosh came when the revolution of WinTel began (Microsoft Windows + Intel).
