The Timex Sinclair 2040 printer is actually a Alphacom 32, a printer that used thermal paper, with 4”33 width. The Alphacom is a part of this collection but is not showcased due to space availability.

The printers are compatible with all computers from Timex Sinclair, Timex Computer and, also, the Spectrum’s. The LPRINT an LLIST commands make their output directly on the printer, and the COPY command prints a copy of the screen.

Timex catalogues also show a silver printer, but we have never seen one in person, only black coloured versions. The most common one has a “TIMEX Sinclair 2040” label, however, he have already found two printers in Portugal with a label saying “TIMEX Printer 2040”.
