MGT SAM COUPÉ

Released in 1989, this model only sold around 12,000 units, but has an army of fans that idolize it. It was created by Miles Gordon Technologies, founded by two ex-Sinclair workers.

IT was a very powerful computer (Z80B processor, 256KB and 512KB of memory) that did a lot more than just emulate the ZX Spectrum. However, marketing strategies were created to win over Spectrum users: “Do you want a computer with better sound, graphic, more power… But don’t want to lose the softwares you have been collecting?”
