SINCLAIR ZX SPECTRUM+
The rubber keys are matter of great discussion amongst users of the ZX Spectrum. Some love it and some hate it… And the same thing happened back in the ‘80s, so Sinclair opted, in 1984, to create a keyboard and hardware that were more professional without significantly altering the interior of the computer (the major difference was the introduction of a reset button than could be added to any version of the original board).
This upgrade could also be bought as an extra, and in that case it had the word “Upgradet” on the serial number.
Other companies developed professional keyboards to connect to the ZX Spectrum. Some og the better known in the UK were the “Lo-Profile” and the “Saga 1 Emperor”.
In 1984, Sinclair chose to design a more professional keyboard and frame without messing around inside the computer (the biggest difference is the introduction of a reset button that can be done on any version of the baseboard).
This upgrade could also have been purchased as an extra, in which case the word “Upgraded” would be in place of the serial number.
Model in exhibition: It is a Spanish version, as can be observed through the Spanish keyboard. The computer also showcases messages written in Spanish.
