FM RADIO
The FM wristwatch Radio is one of Sinclair’s most unusual and rare pieces to find. This is due to its’ little production quantity. It was designed by FluXXWorks’ Dagfinn Aksnes, who has been keeping up to date with our Museum’s evolution.

Released in Las Vegas at the 1985 Consumer Electronics Show, this FM Radio had its production halted. This was caused by the same difficulties that resulted in the selling of the computer line to Amstrad.

The antenna to the radio is the bracelet itself, as can be observed. The original bracelet, similar to the ones we have already seen, ends up deteriorating and disintegrating with the passage of time.

The bracelet is composed of three parts: (i) the top one has the tuner; (ii) the middle one has the speaker and sound control; (iii) the bottom one has the watch itself, light, control buttons and the on/off radio button.
