MICROMATIC RADIO (REGULAR, KIT AND CLAIRTONE)
Micromatic was the last radio kit launched by Sinclair, in 1967. The name derived from the automation trend that was quite in vogue at the time (-matic). However, it was not that different from the Micro – 6, even though it could not be worn on the wrist.
It had immense success and was available on market up until 1971.
Displayed here is an already assembled Micromatic, as well as a Micromatic kit, as to showcase how it was originally sold. A Clairtone Mini Hi-Fi from 1970, a Canadian clone (from Clairtone Sound Corporation Ltd) is also presented here.
